Bat Drag: BUSTED! Introducing the Bat Drag Buster from Baseball Rebellion

Written By: Chas Pippitt

Hello Hitting Coaches Everywhere!
I'm so excited about my newest product, the Bat Drag Buster!  We just assembled all of them, and are going to put them in the Baseball Rebellion Store on Thursday of next week.  Here's a quick video on Bat Drag and the many forms Bat Drag takes.

I created the product for kids, and it fits kids as small as 65 lbs and as large as me (I'm 240 LBS), but a few of my older students were in preparing for the draft or for summer ball the other day, and I put the Bat Drag Buster on them.  They loved it!  A beautiful unintended benefit of using the Bat Drag Buster is that it teaches my older players that do not have 'bat drag' to turn the barrel in a very powerful and efficient way.  In just 20 minutes, one hitter, upped his max exit speed from 102 mph and a 'normal high' of 98-100mph to 105.2 mph and a 'normal high' of 102-104 mph. (normal high means any hard hit ball to the back of the cage).  150.2 mph

These guys have Rebel's Racks, they have Drive Developers, and they train with them daily.  These future pros said, "This is the first time I've been able to really feel a proper upper body unit WITH the bat."

Oh, did I forget to mention you can HIT in the Bat Drag Buster?  AND the Bat Drag Buster the only Bat Drag product on the market that allows for full speed swings against full speed pitching.   Other products on the market have a fixed rod between the elbows.  While the rod makes bat drag impossible while you're wearing the product, it promotes pushing the elbows together while swinging...the exact motion that causes bat drag!  In addition, it is impossible to hit full speed pitches or take a full swing while wearing that product.  Other 'solutions' for bat drag have not eliminated bat drag, which is the main reason kids can't continue playing baseball past the Little League Level.  Players on middle school teams that bat drag, are few and far between, and once you get to high school it's even less likely and more detrimental to a hitter's potential production.  That's why I created the Bat Drag Buster, because I have not seen a product that can ELIMINATE bat drag like the Bat Drag Buster can.

As with all of my products, you will get detailed videos in a log in/password form, that will teach you everything you need to know about the Bat Drag Buster like:

  • how to put the Bat Drag Buster on
  • different configurations of the Bat Drag Buster and what they do
  • specific drills, filmed in HD video from multiple angles of all drills
  • detailed video and audio explanations of all drills and movements

As an added bonus,  we are OVERHAULING all the videos on www.drivedeveloper.com for the Drive Developer and Rebel's Rack and changing them out with brand new drill videos, in HD.  We will also add a few new drills to make your use of those products even better!

I haven't been this excited about a product in a long time.  I can't wait for you to get your own Bat Drag Buster from the Baseball Rebellion Store!  Thank you again for supporting the Baseball Rebellion.  We are changing swings one hitter at a time!

Wow…I’m excited about this, too! I can’t wait to get it and try it out with my son, Ryan. He leads the team (currently) in HRs and total bases (thanks to you and JK!) but steps up to the next age in the fall (11-12) where the pitching changes from machine pitch kid-pitch. It’s a whole new ball game!

I look forward to (hopefully) being one of the first 200!!!

So we’ve gotta wait another week?!? WTH?!?!? LoL…All kidding aside we can’t wait to get the BDB! Although we’re well aware you can’t buy a great baseball swing that repeatedly smashes the ball, hard work and the training aides you bring to market based on the truth (real science) will surely make that happen. Thank you and your staff for your hard work and dedication to making the game fun by playing better.

Hey Chas ! Long time no talk . This product sounds great . I will be ordering first day . Can’t wait to get little Mando using this . Btw he made his All Star team this season and was the only 10 year old on his team of 11 and 12 year Olds . He hung in there with the flame throwers and was driving the ball all season long .

BR, I’m having a very hard time getting rid of one of my kids “arm bar” he’s a very good hitter at 14. But he’s getting to the age where a arm bar will not translate to success much longer seeing harder pitching. He’s got a great forward move but he seems to be pushing his hands back right as he goes into his fall forward. Please give me some cues or video. This has been going on for a while an I need to get rid of it!

I’m interested in the bat drag buster for my 6 year old. He’s about 3’5” and 50-something pounds. Will this product properly fit him?

Ivan,

I think just for a little while it might be loose. Perhaps with a sweatshirt on or something like that might help them stay on. Shouldn’t be too long before he can fit into it just fine.
